Caroline qualified as a chartered physiotherapist from Brunel University in 1997, after working in London for two years moved to Bristol to follow her dream of working with children. Working Bristol Royal Hospital for Children for the next 14 years she gained considerable experience in all areas of paediatric physiotherapy, progressing from a junior to a highly specialist paediatric orthopaedic physiotherapist.


She specialises in treating children with Cerebral Palsy after surgical intervention but has considerable experience in treating children with neurological conditions or babies with developmental delay.


As a specialist orthopeadic physiotherapist she also has considerable experience treating babies with congenital abnormalities such as Club foot, Erbs Palsy, Plagiocephaly and Torticollis as well as gait abnormalities such as flat feet and toe walking.


Caroline is


  • Trained in Bobath or Neurodevelopmental Therapy - a specialised and highly effective treatment approach for children with Cerebral Palsy, neurological disorders or for children with similar movement difficulties.

  • Trained in the assessment and administration of Botulinum toxin

  • Trained in hydrotherapy and Halliwick. Halliwck is a method of treating children with disabilities to swim, with advanced training she has been able to combine the principles of Halliwck and Bobath to gain effective treatments in water.

  • Trained in the fabrication and application of splints for the upper limb
